We are a boutique speech-language practice founded on cross-setting expertise and rooted in genuine partnerships with families and schools. We are out of the box thinkers that thrive on creativity and driven by our community.
Shantal De Silva is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over 24 years of experience across a wide range of settings — from public and private schools to home-based and clinic-based therapy. She brings to every session a deep fondness for play, creativity, and structure, believing that the most meaningful progress happens when therapy feels less like work and more like discovery.
Shantal is known for her highly individualized approach — not only customizing therapy goals to each child but personally crafting materials that reflect their unique interests, from the latest trends to beloved favorites. She is a passionate advocate for the team approach, knowing that real progress happens when families, educators, and clinicians move together toward the same goal.
At the heart of her work is a love for “cracking the code” — finding the key that unlocks communication for each child and watching them discover the power of their own voice.
Outside the therapy room Shantal is a proud stepmom of two and aunt of seven. She is an avid reader and a lover of all things travel related.
We are a practice built on cross-setting expertise — from public schools, to private schools, IEP teams, early intervention, living rooms, group therapy settings and playdates, to private therapy rooms.
We believe communication is the work down of a strong team, not simply a forty-five minute appointment. We show up like the partner you feel most comfortable entrusting with your child or student — responsible, intentional, positive, communicative, innovative, playful, and committed. Therapy is designed based on more than the finish line in mind but curated to meet your child where they are.
